Shell Lake Walleye Recovery?

Recommended Posts

TroutYammer

Last time I was to Shell lake was back about 2003 and all we could catch was northern pike and bullheads. Are the walleyes recovering enough to make it worth fighting off the snot-rockets and bullheads?

I caught 2 of the largest walleyes of my life there, and it was after 2003.

I'll just say well over 20". and I will include that it was slip bobber. Take it for what it's worth. If you are talking about Shell lake in Becker county.

And yes you will still catch tons of slimers and bass. Great lake for the kids. Lots of action!
