Driving on Lake?

Is it o.k. to drive yet? How about this weekend? I am dying to get out there!

I would like to know as well if it is ok to drive out past Pine yet. I realize that no ice is safe but I drive a Ranger pickup and plan to come up and fish Sunday just wondering the ice thickness.<P>

Hey Big Gaffer. Is it true that you lost a 8+ "eye" last year at the bottom of the hole? Hole to deep for you? Har dee har har<BR>Talked to a guy this morning and he had 8 in the pail. Not much in size but he wasn't complainin'. they couldn't get out by the island yet due to the crack in the ice.
