Lake Geneva

Hello All,

I just got a call from a friend that has a place on the NE corner of Geneva wanting to go Ice Fishing. He doesnt have any experience ice fishing and was hoping I could lead him to some fish. Can someone let me know if Geneva is a good place to get on some active fish or should we try somewhere else on the chain or nearby? I'm pretty much shooting from the hip...any info would be appreciated.

There is a large flat on the north end of the lake, directly out infront of the public access. There is also running water near that location so use caution. Where that flat breaks into the deeper water is usually a good place to start looking for gills and crappies. Fish more towards the first point on the east shoreline and stay away from the channel to Le Homme Dieu!
