I was out that side last weekend with my f150. We were out about a mile and a half, kinda by hennepin island, but a crack did open from indian point all the way over to big point that day. not sure what the status of that is now. go out of a resort over there and they will have the latest details.

I'm out right now by henn island. You can get just about anywhere with a car. As suggested, just make sure you go out of a resort. Appledorns is where I accessed from. They will advise you on the trouble areas.

From the casino access you can get about 3/4 of a mile out and then you hit a nasty crack that was moving all over on Sat. this crack runs all the way up to garrison. We were able to get out to the mud going out of Terrys but had to cross a crack and when we tried to come back in the crack had become a wide open hole and we had to go a long ways to find a place to cross. All of this was on atv. You would be taking a big risk to try and travel out of the bays with a car or truck in my opinion, too many areas with varying ice conditions on the north end.
