How is the ice looking on Le Homme Dieu? can any one tell me about the roll over prizes for the tourny there? Heard no one cought a fish last year.

if you visit icefishingchallenge.org they have all the prizes listed there, along with the raffle prizes. it looks like they went all cash prizes again this year.

You are right fishing-g! not one fish. I know I'm not the best fisherman out there but I would of thought one of us 2,500 would of caught one. Tournement is back on Lake Le Homme Diue. I gurantee there will be a fish registered in the first 5 minutes of the contest. They carried over all the prize money from last year so all places are double money. I would think some of the Brainerd tournement goers will probably come down our way. Way better odds and a great time as well!!

We're thinking of trying the local contest this year. Does anyone know of link that will show me what area of the lake the contest will be held? Never fished it before but would like to look at a lake depth map within the contest boundary lines.

The link is icefishingchallenge.org but there is no map of the boundaries. For years it use to be straight out from the NE access and going to the south. Two years ago it was straight out and to the north. Either way, it's by the NE access.

What time do I need to get there to park and get a spot on the ice?

the earlier the better, and yes theres shuttles, they start running at 730, cant get on the lake until 8 though.
