Does ANYBODY NIGHT FISH the Alexandria Chain?????

Recommended Posts

Well my last post asking if it is worthwhile fishing after dark had over 200 views and 1 response? So maybe I should just those that do icefish at night if it was worth your efforts? I do a lot of night fishing in my area for crappie and channel cats thru the ice and do pretty well. But the night walleye bite is not great at all. But my waters are not clear at all, with at best about 3 ft. visibility. So since this will be my first visit I was curious if it was productive here. Guess I'll just have to give it a shot on my own. But will post my results daily. Will be there from the 16th thru the 24th at Arrowwood.

There are plenty of guys with sleeper shacks that spend the entire night on the ice. Some nights are not so good but there are many nights that you can pick up some nice walleyes throughout the night. As Chad mentioned, the dusk (4:30 to 6:30) will generally be the best bite. Good luck and enjoy your Arrowwood vacation.
