I went out past the ice ridge on Clay Point (drove to ridge then walked over it) to what has been a hot spot I have marked on GPS for Crappies but it was not too hot. Too many small perch but I did manage 4 crappies, 3 of which were over the minimum 11". Back to my other spot and no need to venture out onto that bad ice.

Ice past the ridge was about 8" where I drilled and there was some standing water right at the major crack. Most of the ice is jagged re-freeze stuff but there are 2 bigger perms out there.
