I am coming up again this year to LOTW and am seeing a lot of information regarding these glow devils and buckshot rattle spoons. I would appreciate a recommendation regarding color and size of the glow devil and color and size of the buckshot rattle spoon. I will probably be fishing out of Morris Point or Arneson's in fairly deep water. Thanks for the information!

Anything gold or gold and various other colors. Gold pink seems to be good for me. Bright days go bright colors and overcast go darker or natural. At times glow is good and on certain days it can be the difference between a few and a bunch. Some days they want it small and others you get go BIG. Let the fish tell ya what they want. I usually start out agressive and if that dont work I slow down, if that fails I downsize then change colors etc. A lot of fish get caught on a bare colored hook or small jig. I always have a deadstick working 1 hole while I jig the other. See wich 1 works best on that day. Watch the Vex for high runners they are usually agresssive and BIG.<p>[This message has been edited by Northlander (edited 12-06-2003).]
