Fishing Namakan?

Recommended Posts

So this might be A stupid question but are there any speical regulations such as having A canadian fishing license to fish the minnesota side and is there any bait restrictions with it being A boundary water? I will be coming up and camping for the week of labor day and fishing the east side of kabetogama and would also like to fish namakan.Any insight on what to expect that time of year about the fishing?I have only fished the west end of kab on opener A couple times and never this time of year so any help would be great do crawlers still work at that time or is it pretty much all minnows at that time. thanks in advance TEAM WILD

The only special reg is all walleye from 17-28" must be immediately released with one over 28". No bait restrictions. Just stay on this side of the border and you won't need a Canadian license.
