Ice/ snow conditions on Big Mantrap

Any report on travel conditions on Big Mantrap?

Slush is virtually nonexistent. You'll be better off with a sled or wheeler, but may be able to get around with a truck. There are no plowed roads and it doesn't appear there is any vehicle traffic on the lake. The old access is not plowed out. Someone was down there with a truck, but lots of snowmobiles have been through.

Is the slush still pretty much gone on Mantrap? I would imagine that the access in on the north side by the power line is not open though.

The old access is still not cleared, but you might be able to get through. Lots of snowmobile tracks. Slush is gone as far as I can tell.

has the condidtions Mantrap improved as far as access goes or is travel still a problem on area lakes

Both accesses were plowed out before the thaw. Should be no problem driving anywhere unless you have a car. Most other lakes are the same condition.
