Fish Lake south of windom

Was on it sunday evening with no luck. Marked alot of fish and threw the box at 'em and no takers. There was houses all around the lake and pretty easy to get around.

how deep where you fishing, i was out in 20' and marked fish but like you no takers. You by chance shallower

What you are marking are perch and very small ones.

there anyhting else in the lake, or just perch

No fish in this lake so don't even was waste your time trying.

Okay, On a serious note it is a great lake. There are smallmouth, walleyes, sunfish, and alot of northerns and catfish in there along with the perch. Just have to put some time in to find the nice size fish.

Yea they are small but we did have some decent marks on the flasher but still couldnt get them to bite. I was in about 20 fow also.

does anyone know how it is to get on the lake, or can you drive on it, planing on going for the weekend

Not sure, all I know is that its a dead sea out there but that could change with the rising temps.

There is only one road plowed and off road travel is not advised.

I would recomend a portable so you can move around and try to locate active fish.
