Did you forget something at Echo Lake?

If somebody forgot their shovel at Echo Lake, north of Finland, this weekend (Jan 22 & 23) I have it. I work in Duluth so I can make arrangements to get it back to you some how.

If somebody forgot their empty Diet Dew bottles and empty 1 lb propane tanks , I picked up those too

why the ---- do people have to leave trash behind. they had room to bring it into the lake so they have room to bring it out.

I can't believe some of the carp some people leave behind, I have picked up all sorts of stuff, someone broke their lantern and just left it out on the ice. Hate picking up after people, but hate the thought of leaving it there even more.

When I fished echo last fall I could see a car battery sitting on the bottom in about 15 ft at the north end of the lake That can't be good.

I'll give you $5 for the shovel and recycle the stuff you picked up.

The junk (pop bottles) has been recycled. I still have the propane cylinder, no too sure where to take empties but I didn't want to toss it in the garbage.

I guess my original intent of the post was to get the shovel back to its owner (the shovel and junk were at opposite ends of the lake so I am taking a swag and saying they weren't left by the same people). The commentary on the junk was a little venting and trying to shame certain people away from being pigs/lazy.

I have never seen a shovel like this one. It is somewhat of a contraption...

No need for the $5 for the shovel, if you would like to have it, since nobody claimed it, it's yours.

Because people in general shouldn't be allowed out of their rubber rooms, let alone outdoors.
