just wondering if it pays to haul the underwater camera to rainy or is it best to leave at home?

Personally I would just leave it at home. I have tried, but it is far more beneficial to just use your flashers.

Hi Sawdude,

Rainy is a deep dark stained water lake, your camera will be worthless, there are some places on Rainy where the water is more clear, but not in American waters.

I have used them mith success in the North Arm up to 30 feet deep. They work better ice fishing than open water but have used mine in summer as well.

id leave it home like fish said its worthless your flasher will be your best bet.
