I would highly recomend this to anyone going up to red. Me and a buddy stayed with Dean from the 18th til the 20th. Let me tell you it was grade-A in customer service. He checked in on us quite a few times through out the day and made sure we where doing alright. The fishing was so so with it being cold out. but everytime he did checked in he would always ask if we wanted to move to another house or try each of his houses for a little while til we would find some fish. There was a nicely plowed road going out to the the fish house and had accese to one of the motel rooms to use as a heated restroom. We did end up catching quite a few nicer fish in the slot size but did manager to get a few smaller ones to take home and eat. the biggest walleye we got in was 25" and we got a 40" pike ill post some pictures of those here in a while. so over all if anyone is planning on coming up to red lake you should deffinetly check out beacon harbor.
