Arnesens and buying a license

Can you purchase a fishing license at Arnesens? I'm bringing my mom out fishing for the first time and she needs a license. I want to know if we need to stop before we get there, or if she can get one at the resort.

better get one before you get there. I do not think they sell them.

They do not sell them,however in the lodge lobby, the pay phone area has a posting with an 800 dnr number that you can get both canadian and U.S. licences. They will give you a code number that the wardens will check to verify the validity. it's an easy way to do business.

Yup done that with my wife, you can get a 2 hr license if ya want an yup, you just write down the verification number an your good to go. Boar

boar, with any luck you can fill out in 2 hrs and then you won't need the other 22 hrs anyway....LOL Wouldn't that be nice....
