dodgeman: You've got several options ie: zipple, arnesons, wheelers point. I would think one major concern pulling a wheel house would be a road system which most maintain. Adrians road off of wheelers is out a looong ways right now, so your choice of depth would be good. Good luck, hope you enjoy your week on the frozen water.

First year we went up there, we fished 29-32 feet deep, at Zippel. We had major problems getting the tiny fish back down the hole, when we were in 32'. You get a LOT of little saugers out DEEP. After that I have mentally chosen depths under 30'.....so my suggestion is to look for areas where you can catch some fish in those depths(even if the total volume may not be as high). I like to have the CHOICE to cpr them at least. The reefs, Arnesons, Long Point, Zippel are all possible choices for that.

Tower and Pedro's reef are also some smaller reefs also near arnesens reef area. to the west side of the road.

Turn north at Roosevelt onto Rocky Pt. Road. Take that all the way up to the lake; you'll see a sign off to the right of the road just as you get to the lake. Hard to miss in the daylight.
