Inland lakes for crappies

Recommended Posts

We caught a few at Comstock a few days ago but over all it was slow. Pike is tossing out a few crappies as is Grand and Island. Im taking my snowmobile up to Island on Friday and hunting the SLABS down.

Welcome to the forums Chappy! I would have to agree with NL and say that I would stick to Fish lake if you want crappies. No point in driving north - I have found that it's really not much better if at all.

NL - Good luck out there man. I'm jealous, but hope ya get into some! It's fun when you can catch a crappie that actually fights!!

Hey Northlander, had a change of plans for Friday. I'll be available after noon or so. Let me know if you want to meet up somewhere.
