3rd weekend in arow . an that high pressure kicked my butt again, I normally dont commite to a weekend with a high moving in, like it did this weekend an last weekend an the the weekend before Xmas, but my nephew really wanted to go , so what the heck might get lucky. But no. Sat at Zipple Sat morning till 1. nthing but a 30 1/2" pike which was fun. Then I just pulled an idea outa my but an packed up my camper an I move to beverly........Hills that is, movie stars. opps sorry, really tired right now. South Tip, of Buffalo that is. Perch, walleye, Northern pike, pout. Just cant get rid of it, its stuck.Sunday proved a little better, with an 18 17 an two 13 in saugys, better than nothing an still had fun. except for my reuglator frezzing an not getting enough pressure to the heater, came back with two half tanks. tried wrapping the tank an regulator in insulatio, seemed to help, glad it wasnt windy. On to the next, boar

Just a thought on your propane problems. A friend of mine talked to the local propane guy about regulator freeze up. He said if they have problems they just dump a little ethanol into the regulator which will dry up any moisture in the line and just burn through your furnace creating no harmful vapors. He also said that insulating tanks is the worst possisble thing to do. I beleive propane starts to liquify at about -40. I have found that by pointing my generator exaust at the tank/regulator they will run just fine in the coldest conditions.

As far as the ethanol goes, it did work for me a couple weeks ago when my regulator was freezing up. I added a little bit and she ran great all weekend.

Boy stealth, I really needed to hear that.Lol. but good for you glad your hittin them. Hey cris was hoping to hear from you. My email is all but lost hope, having trouble finding fish to huh? heading up this weekend again but with the 4H group outa the wigwam , nice to have someone else do the work. Teryy, you an me both, thought I'd try something else for a chage ,might be back, it sure is nice being on the west side wen it's time to go home though. Hey up north yea the probably was me with the doggie an black suburban, ended up moving north yea again, found some great looking countours of the point in 18 that meet contours coming in from the lake in 22, nice contour funnel, just need to get back an fish it. Bopper, thanks for the propane tips, actually thought about bringin a air compressor an blowing out the line but I like your idea better. thanks, Later boar

yeah i dont know what the bottom is made up of.. im guesing mud, but im in 22ft on the shore side of bobber st. about 1/3rd the way down . like i said everyone keeps moving deeper but for me it keeps getting better.. maybe its because less noise and fish pressure..but i dont mind it lol! ill be back up there for fri and sat hopefully get that 30 inch hog!! by the way after being in same spot 1 month now it seems like the key is having as many rattle reels or deadsticks with bare red hooks.. and 1 jigging to bring them in..with in legal lines for people..out of all the 90 some fish last wknd only maybe 10 were caught jigging. the rest rattle reels.. show up on vex diasapear then hit rattle reels/

Thats the way to do it, My house is set up with the jigging hole in the center an perimetter holes on the out side an it works great, evry way they turn they run into a easy meal.
