Drove by Lady Slipper today and didn't see the aerator in the water and thought i saw it just sitting in a snow bank. Are they not using it this year on Lady Slipper?

there isnt an airator sitting on the ice on either slipper or school grove, both lakes have running airators this year.

as of 2 hours ago.. besides.. theres no fish in those lakes :P

what's with lady slipper this year? Everything I could catch was small except for the very rare nice perch (4 in two trips)

its all in where you go and whats under neath! took me 3 seasons to figure the lake out..

Hey broken_line... I have never fished the lake and would like to give it a try sometime. What lures/presentations have you tried that work. Jig and minnow? plastics? Is it primarily an evening bite or a day bite? Any info I could get would be great. Not looking for any specific spots or anything. Thanks in advance!

shiny jigging tackle and off the beaten path by the airator will get you fish.. it seems (for me) when theres alot of fishing pressure in one spot the bit on the big fish slows down, mostly fat heads.

brokenlne was it easy to get to your house this weekend? was out on wednsday and there was alot of snow. just wondering how hard it's going to be to get there tomorrow. i'm the friend of jonathon's. do u have an aunt named Cyndi? my mom and her are childhood friends.

i have 30" mud tires on a blazer and it took some backing up to get there but i did it, with the wind i think it will be easier. but there was a guy pulling a large wheel house with a chevy avalanche all over the lake this afternoon. if you pick and choose where you go its easy to get out there.

problebly same guy that was buy our houses on Wednsday. if u get a chance thank who ever opens up the access it was nice on Wednsday. Jeremy might be out there tomorrow or hopefully he and i will be there at around 530. i have caught fish in the lake at differet times but usually week early or day late. still fun fishing it though. hope school grove shines soon that lake usually gets the best of me, before it froze out.
