Still some bad ice

Units are responding to Shagwa where a snowmobiler has gone thru the ice where the Burntside River comes in. Sound like the person is out of the water, just waiting for help.

Point being, even if there is 2 ft of ice out there.....there are still bad spots. Remember, Ice is never safe!!!!!!!

You're telling me. I think that frozen slush is still melting off of my snowshoes from New Years weekend!

Glad to hear they are out of the water. That area is bad all winter long with the current coming in from the river. Wonder if it was someone who didn't know any better.
