Kelly or Jon, I'll be coming up this Thursday and staying in one of your 4 man houses. Just wondering if there are chairs in the houses, or should we bring chairs along with? Looking forward to meeting the crew up there, and maybe sharing some stories if you guys have time. See you guys in a couple of days.

Have you guys been moving any houses out to deeper water, or is it still to iffy with the ice sheet?

There are chairs in the houses now. Depending on how drunk the group before you gets there might still be chairs in the house Thursday. You'll be in about 12 feet of water right on the shore side of new fresh crack we are not going to try cross yet in case it becomes a pressure ridge.

Kelly, sounds good. It'll be myself, my dad, and my oldest son so if there are chairs when we get there, there will be chairs when we leave. We'll be having a drink or two while we're there but nothing out of hand. Have to set a good example for the oldest son . he doesn't turn 21 for another week and half If you guys are out and about checking in us feel free to stop in and partake in a beverage if want. Otherwise the coffee pot will always be on during the day. I remember jonny saying it doesn't work to well if a plow truck operator has a few beverages and starts thinking to much

I'm just curious to see what there is left in the morning. 2 houses on oposite ends of a piece of structure just close enough so you can shout back and forth. In one house is Bill from Illinois who spent some time in Vietnam back in the 60’s and 70’s and is a Chicago Bears fan. The other house has 4 considerably younger Packer fans from Wisconsin . There was some yelling going on this afternoon. I think tomorrow I’ll plow up a big pile of snow so they can play “King on the hill” and we can see whether youth and energy or experienced and cagey can claim the top of the hill.

I'm putting money on experience and cagey, but set up a video camera and you could probably sell tickets to the first Upper Red Lake Smack down event. I'll bring popcorn and beer
