It will be my first time on LOW and we are staying at Zipple Bay. Just wondering what to look for as for structure. Going out in portables, so we will be able to try different spots. How far out are people going? Thanks for any info!

There are lots of reports on this form. Just hop around and you will get enough [PoorWordUsage] to get you headed in the righ spots. Good Luck.Your going to catch fish.

Just your typical walleye structure. You can usually see the pattern if you look at the resort shacks and a lake map. If you know of a midflat hump in some deeper water - I would say that would be the ticket with the full moon approaching. The eyes should be making there way to feed on some good hatches...just my 2cents.

I'll be up there Friday after dark and and plan to set my wheelhouse in 26-28' for the weekend. Hopefully we can catch enough for a meal on Saturday before the pressure system moves in late Saturday or early Sunday.

Thanks for the input. It's just a big lake and it will be hard to just hop around. Not a lot of daylight out there, so I am hoping to only move a few times. And for the typical walleye structure comment, not sure what you mean since there isn't that much structure out there in the middle of the lake. I checked my lake chip and it just looks like Upper Red, a big bowl. I figure, just to fish around any kind of structure and hope it produce. Thanks for all the input and I hope you get into them like I have always heard about that lake! See ya up there!!

Last weekend I fished out of Zipple n 23', 24' and 27'. I should have off roaded it and went out to about 30+ as deeper was better. If your not stuck in your plan I would recommended going over to Adrians instead and fish in 34+ water. We fished a mile short of the end of the road on Sunday and the bite was better then Zipple yet most of the houses were at the end of the road which had just been punched out farther as of Tuesday.

Lakemaster Chip or Navionics? I have both and the navionics actually shows some structure.

Just remember when pulling those fish out of that deep of water pull them up slow. Because if they are to small or to big and need to go back they will die if brought up to fast.
