Smobile Down!! Eagle Lake/Pike Lake Creek

Recommended Posts

Just went for a hike around Eagle/Pike today...not fishing just looking and found a Polaris snomobile through the ice in the creek that connects Eagle/Pike Lakes. It's not frozen in solid but the ice is forming fast. Water is not too deep with windsheild, handlebars and a bit of the seat sticking out of the water. Looked around and found no bodies but there were human tracks walking away. My guess is that it went down last night or yesterday some time by looking at the ice formation. Kinda of a lousey picture but adding one anyway from my cell phone. Photo taken from walking bridge that goes over the creek.

Anybody know when this went through the ice or who lost their sled? I am wondering how they are gonna get this thing out of the creek???

Someone should still call the Authorities not only to check for people down but to get the darn thing out of the lake! It may have been stolen and dumped shocked

Thanks for calling and double checking on that. That lake is getting enough junk dumped in it as it is! frown

crazy.... I knew that area was weak... It never freezes very hard in the narrow creekbed! CAREFUL!

I was sitting on Eagle in that bay by the park last winter and watched a guy drive a bronco through there...! Guessing the person who went through was fine, it is only a few feet deep. Glad to hear they were alright.
