Looking to rent a sleeper for a few day!

I am looking at 2 different resorts. Lybacks or Hunters? I want to catch fish, but also be very comfortable. Need to have a bathroom, stove, oven, table for cards, but the catching fish is priority! Stayed in a sleeper last year(different place), was very disappointed. No fish and the house was disgusting! Planning on the last week of Jan. Any suggestions on either of these 2 I appreciate! Also, any past experiences with them I would also like to hear! Thanks

Hunters has bathrooms in most their houses. Also, you will be hard pressed to find an oven in any rental on the lake from what I have found. Most will have the cooktop. They do a good job moving the houses, and they are on some decent structure. Plus, their roads go all over the east side, including the flats, so you could move a little on your own to find the fish if they aren't under your house. I would look to book quick...the ice houses get reserved pretty quickly. Go to their website and you can find the breakdown of all their houses.

I can't say a bad thing about Lyback's either. They do a great job with their roads...however, I haven't had the pleasure of staying in one of their houses.

I'm heading up to Nitti's Hunters Point next week/weekend for some fishing, and have gone out of Hunters at least twice a winter and either stayed in their cabin, motel room, or ice houses for the past eight years . They do a great job. Feel free to ask questions and make sure you try their homemade pizza!

I just got back yesterday from a 3day/2 night ice house rental at Hunters. It was my first time renting there and I will be a return customer. We didnt hit a thing the first day (Monday) so I called them first thing Tuesday morning asking them to move us and to my surprise, they had two tow trucks out within 30 minutes! They moved us to where others had been having success and we ended up with a nice mess of eyes and perch. The ice house itself was beautiful, spacious and clean and their rates were very reasonable imo.

I have no experience with Lybacks to share.

Rented a house out of Lybacks New Years weekend, House was good with an oven, 4 bunks, table, everything that you need. The best part about it was we came home with a very nice pail full of perch. We ended up with 36 keepers from 9.5" to a 14" hog. We were limited to the fish house as the weather was nasty out. Very nice place to rent from and very affordable.
