Going to hit up Winterhalter this weekend with my cousin. I fished it last year and there we're some dandies in there.

I went with my cousin out to Winterhalter on Saturday. Fished from 8 till noon. The crappie action was darn good. Caught a lot on minnows! When we fish this lake we enter from the road through the cattails. Be careful as the ice near that cattails is pretty thin, but firms up quick!

Thats kinda weird because I was out with my two buddies on Winterhalter on Saturday and we were the only ones on the lake. Fishing has been really slow out there this year and the landing is really sketchy. I went through the swamp the first time out there and this weekend it looked like someone had gone through earlier in the week. Careful out there.
