I have seen some crazy people drive out there. I wouldn't at least until next week. The ice is not uniform in thickness at all.

Ya its very differing ice. I took my toyota camry station wagon out on saturday the 1st. I found ice varying from 15 to 10 inches. Not all of it was good ice though. I would say 8 to 12 inches of good ice. enough for my tiny car but sketchy for a truck. I also stayed close to the west side public access and didn't venture to far off the beaten path. Its rough ice with all the frozen ruts.

Back in the day when Goose had a good winter access thier would be atleast 1 or 2 trucks go down every winter. Lots of springs, current and big schools of carp last winter I saw a car drop it front end through on the south end. Also a 5 crappie limit and eyes under 17 must be realesed.
