Anyone have an ice update on bone lake? wondering if there might be enough to drive out yet?

I was out there on Sunday. I pulled out from the boat launch a ways and fished the sharp breaks on the left shore, where the lake narrows. Only caught small perch and sunfish. Decent amount of houses out there. I was on 12 1/2 inches of ice. I'd say 8" of good ice, 4 1/2" of cloudy ice. I saw a car and a truck out there. The trucks might be jumping the gun a bit but to each their own. It's nice how there is like no snow on bone though. Bring your ice cleats!!

Oh yeah, I wanted to say - as I was pulling off (a ways!) I was carrying my hub on my back like a backpack and pulling a sled loaded with stuff. I was about half way to the launch when 2 wheeler's cruised by me. One came back after getting to the launch, I assumed something fell out of their sled. But he came back to ask if I wanted a ride. Thought that was pretty cool!! I know I've fished near a lot of guys which were the opposite of this one - rude. So it was pretty refreshing seeing the generosity of some fellow anglers. I would have taken the ride but I had cleats on and my sled wasn't packed for an ATV ride.
