I went out on vails today and had a few flags up but in general pretty slow. Caught some small perch and crappies jigging but that was about it. I also fished Big yesterday and caught a few crappies and a couple small walleyes but today bite totally shut off. I think their is too much food down there based on what a person can see with a camera. Hard to get fish to bite.

Is the fishing slowing down in most places or is it just me? It seems like the winter soft bite has already set in. On the plus side, due to the rain it seems like you can go almost anywhere with a wheeler on the lake.
