Spirit Island and south

Planning on coming up next weekend. Any reports on the south end out of Cove Bay to Spirit Island??

There is good fishing going on in that area now. We have fished 17 feet off the point, as close to the deep water as you can get. This is a morning/afternoon bite, not much going on there during the day. During the day hit the gravel/rock/mud transitions in 30-31 feet. We have been getting perch, walleyes, and tullies during the day. Go find some of the smaller humps between Kings and Sloppys. Sloppys got pounded for 10 days and is all but shut down now from all the activity, but if you get 1/4 mile away on some of the secondary structures the fish are there. Goof luck!

I typically fish south of Spirit a ways on some of the smaller humps in about 22 feet so it sounds promising

We fished SE of Spirit Island the last few days and it was sloooooow.22ft of water.
