star lake depth on sw end

Hey guys- I'm considering buying a lot on the sw end of star off of cty rd 35. there are a few lots and places for sale (not sure the physical address), there is a peninsula, one side has a channel, the other side is part of the bigger bay. can you boat on that end of the lake or is it really shallow and weedy? any info would be appreciated.

The depth varies, from 2-15 feet out by the Island, it grows up with wild rice in summer. If you are looking at one of the log cabins that are for sale the access there will be limited at best. I have had place off off 35 on south end for 11 years and this is the highest the water has ever been, so when looking realize this is good of conditions as it gets. The panfishing is real good in the summer but not a swimming area, a lot of muck on bottom but under the muck is rock and a sand. Not a real busy area.
