Auger Blades

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of anybody in the St. Cloud area that sharpens auger blades? I checked with Pat's Small Engine Repair in St. Cloud and he steered me towards a tin shed behind the Subway in Sauk Rapids. Went over to check it out and the place is closed down. Are there any other places in the area that may sharpen them? Thanks.

is your auger a strikemaster or jiffy. if it is a strike master just drive to big lake right to strikemaster and do the blade exchange with them. another option would be to call around to the local bait shops. you could always run to gander of fleet farm and just buy a new blade set for your auger.

Thanks for the info everybody. Ended up driving through Big Lake today so stopped right at Strike Master. They wouldn't sharpen them but they did give a discount for an exchange. Twenty eight bucks and I was outta there. I looked at buying new blades at Cabelas and they were $40 plus tax.
