Ice thickness

Going up to Alexandria for the long weekend. How is the thickness and quality of the ice in the area. Any Mill lake or Lake Mary reports as well would be great. Are full size trucks and wheel houses out on the lakes up there yet? Thanks a lot for the input. Just want to be safe since it will be my first trip to Alexandria this year.

Your good to go on both. There is some slush in areas so be careful.

Thanks for the response how thick is the ice? You say some slush how much would you say? You had much snow up there? Haven't been up there since before Thanksgiving so I am kind of going in blind. Thanks!

12" of ice on Osakis last weekend!

12-15 inches of ice and a little water in areas where there is snow. We have about 10" of snow on the surface.

I have been out in several spots on Geneva the last being yesterday. The most ice I have found anywhere is 10". Trucks driving out but not me! Way to spotty. Talked to a buddy who was on Ida and he said he punched some holes that only had 6"-7".

Was on Ida all day Wednesday. Only fished two different spots. We drove our vehicle out on both of them but never ventured off of the roads. One spot had 12.5 inches and the other 13.
