I went back to Lake X/Y/Z on Saturday afternoon and crushed them. I had not been there since late August and the water temps have finally begun to drop into the mid 60's. There was a rapid weather change that occured with the wind shifting from the south to the west and a temperature drop which I believe triggered a very aggressive feeding window. I caught 19 bass and 5 pike in about 4 hours, including my biggest this season, a 21 incher that weighed nearly 6 pounds. -

In that spot, they were the most likely ones to show, second only to antelope. The area behind had both, but was a better chance of seeing whitetails. Muleys way outnumbered whitetails on that trip and very few adult bucks of either type were seen. We could take either with our archery tags. We took none. One of the guys missed a whitetail buck on Saturday morning. 54 yards, jumped the string, is what I heard. I was about a mile away when that went down. -

Most of the Sandhills were gone from northern saskatchewan where we were. They migrate early. -

The Sandhills might be migrating already? Saturday was out last day hunting in SD but the first day I saw or heard any Sandhills while I was glassing an area. I had a flock of 50+ fly over way high and then a little later a flock of over 100 landed in a field off to left of this pic. -

Lots of fires start on fuel injected units that get a leak in fuel lines or fittings and keep pumping fuel on the hot motor and exhaust. -

I found paperwork, it's a 2018. But it's had a starter and fuel pump replaced under warranty. Brother thinks it was due to the brake clutch getting hot

Ran my big buddy last week. Everything worked well except when I turned it to the "high" position. I got a lopy flame over the right burner and it never went to the orange glow phase. Just kept a flame going. Here is what the Big Buddy website says to do:
Main burner orifice is blocked/clogged.
Remove back cover & lower baffle to expose burner assembly. Clean main burner orifice with clean cloth or q-tip with alcohol.
Venturi tube is blocked.
Remove back cover & lower baffle to expose burner assembly. Blow out tube or use a pipe cleaner running up back of burners.
I opened up the back case, took off the metal baffle, but couldn't figure out how to access the main burner. Anyone done this before?
