Obviously there are many different places that plow roads on the lake (thank you!). But from a fishing standpoint does it really make a lot of difference where you come out from? Is one side of the lake considered better than another for walleyes? for northerns?

I will step out here and say Red Lake is like a bowl of milk with some cherrios and the fish just swim around and are nomadic. I have units that people take where they what to go and have never seen much difference as a whole. From lake to lake we have durning different times a year but I have not on Red. It's more preference like what bar you want to go to have a beer at.

All the outfitters from all the resorts work hard at trying to stay on fish. If your going on the North shore call Jonny P, the East shore call Westwinds, Bearpaw or cookie and the South shore call Rogers, Jrs, or Morts. No matter what shore these establishments will do there best to make your trip sucsessful.
