Was on the west side yesterday and had about 10inches of ice. Bite didn't heat up until 1 hour before sunset. Caught a bunch of pannies, nothing over 8inches

Was out today looking for eyes and came up short....very short. This is a tough lake. There is not an update on the DNR website regarding stocking done recently so I dont have a clear notion. I do know that there are pike in here.

Talked with someone who said someone picked out a 28 inch walleye.

Ice conditions are great, for a car at least. I drove a large body of water today and things felt and sounded fine. Also, I drilled about 16 inches of ice on the North half of the lake but south of French park.
