+2 for USA Fur in Duluth.

They have done all my furs. You can also get pillows, slippers or whatever you want made out of your fur.

When a buddy got his first yote, the guy that skinned it had a tool for doing the tail. Is this necessary?

Is there something that shows how to properly skin one to get a good hide for tanning?

No,you can slit on the underside of the tail from the base up 1/4 towards the tip of the tail then grasp the tail just below the slit between your thumb and trigger finger sqezzing hard and pull towards the tip the tail. It should separate the rest of the skin fron the tail bone.
