Anybody getting out lately?

Seen a small buck with one antler on my game cam but a very big buck still had both antlers.

Deer in SE metro. One 2.5 year old missing both antlers, he had a pretty good limp. 2 other bucks at 3.5 or more with both antlers on their heads.

SE Metro. 1.5 year old buck both antlers still above ground level as of last night.

I scouted a big coolie out in west-central ND yesterday. Glassed 14 deer, 9 were over half mile away, so I wasn't conviced I could see a little rack or not at that distance. Most looked like they were anterless.

I've been scouting public land like crazy to find some spots for upcoming archery and the spring turkey season and haven't found a shed yet. I even ventured into a sure bedding area hoping I'd see one in there and no dice. 

 

It shouldn't be too much longer.

Anyone been out this year? My Girlfriend has found one but I still haven't. Trying to train the dog to find them but no luck so far

No still way to much snow. Tried to go for a walk in the woods the other night and turned around after about 50 yards. Snow was still over my knees. I need to get a pair of snow shoes.

I spent some time out last weekend in Central MN and agree there was too much snow.  But we lost most of it this past week around the house so I’m thinking this weekend could be worth another try.  All the low areas will have water in them though.
