public hunting

Recommended Posts

I hope to attend Bemidji state next year. I have my heart set on that school. I know there is great fishing up there but is there any public land to bowhunt or grouse close to the campus up there? I cant stand the city and love being up north so i've wanted to go there since i was in middle school haha. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Take your pick head any direction and you will find state land with just a short drive. Pick up some maps or a gps that shows the state land and lake contours so you can start scouting before you even get up to BSU.

There is too much public land hunting and good fishing to get done with college in less than 6 years.

No classes before 10:00 in the fall really limits how many credits you can take if you take your hunting seriously.

I learned early that English can't compete with duck hunting or bow hunting in the mornings so it is better to schedule around those things.

Good Luck
