Make sure you are selecting the correct dish in the setup. I did have problems with one receiver that wouldn't pick up a signal. Are the dishes the same on your fish house and your house?

Things you might have to watch out for: The box that works may be the older style that picks up standard definition or SD and the box you are using may be for high definition or HD. If you only have 1 transponder or head it may be aimed at the wrong satellite. Right now it is aiming for a SD and it needs to be moved to a HD satellite. Most new DirectTV installs use a 3 head dish that will cover all the satellites. Hope this helps or maybe gives you a idea on what to look at next.

I got one to work, I had to find an older box basic D11 standard box, with the single Lnb head. the new boxes I was told work on lower voltage that is matched to the dish. so you can't take abox from your house and move it to th fishhouse . unless you have the same dish on both houses. thanks for the help hope this helps someone else.

If you need a new dish for your fish house talk to the owner of an apartment building. Theres usually a bunch that are left when someone moves out and you could probably get one for nothing.
