Call the local home for mentally handicapped folks and tell them one of patients escaped and stole a boat and truck.

Yeah not so sure about the sheriff! This summer I pulled into an access and the sheriff's rig was covered with weeds, one of the dnr interns at the access said he toldthemto clean it before they pulled in and he said they just ignored him

I told him to call the CO

I think instead of tickets for not cleaning your trailer the Sheriff/CO should just make the person remove the Milfoil and put it in their undies. You learn your lesson when theres milfoil in your pants.

And i dont think theres anything you can do, there not gona write a ticket on your word.

If you were able to catch up to them when they stopped you could take it as an oportunity to potentially educate them.

Call TIP

it was me that posted the weeds all over the sheriff's trailer last year, and i gotta tell ya - forget following up with this one. those people are above the law and excel at wishy washy responses...they should run for president. if i run across the same thing next year i will take pics, and send them to the DNR. if possible, they will go the the CO in charge of the area...if i can ever figure that one out?!

Good luck. As far as law enforcement is concerned, there are "Cops" and everyone else is "Excrement". They watch their big, blue (brown, olive drab, etc.) wall of silence brother's backs quite well.

There's also a list of all the CO's for the state and there phone numbers. I'd suggest going straight to the source and give your local CO a call. That's a shame and I've seen it happen as well.

I would send the pics to the local media. They would get it more attention then the local sheriff's office would want. laugh
