duck hunting leech

I was just wondering hou many ducks are around leech lake n winnie befor I make the 3 n a half hr drive up there any help would be appreaciated thanks

Some of my buddies have been have awesome luck on leech. Mixed bag, bluebills, mallards, redheads, no woodies though. If you got a boat try the east side of the lake otherwise there are potholes all over the place. good luck

probly have better luck in the duck geese forum, but i was up on the day of your post.Just so happens we were at baders phesant farm 10mi maybe from federal dam then went to the dam couldn't make on the main lake due to strong winds but stayed near the channel and got shooting not the best but some. If the winds blowin as hard as it was find calm water and the duckn should be fair, otherwise if not windy the majority tend to stay on main lake.

By the way Deb at baders is a great host for a phesant shoot. lots of big birds
