We just concluded out annual "guy" trip to NE Wyoming, and here are the results.

Pic 1- Ryan Long, of Austin MN, harvested this 3x2 mule deer at 60 yards with his .270. It was Ryan's first deer!

Pic 2-Adam Koelsch, of Emmons MN, made his first trip to Wyoming with the guys, and was able to harvest his first antelope. Adam's guides on this trip, Kyle & Ben Dagestad, were able to steer him within 50 yards of this buck.

Pic 3-Ben Dagestad, of Emmons MN, harvested this mule deer after 2 days of tough hunting. With the help of his guide, Kyle Dagestad, Ben was able to slip within 15 yards of this buck. The buck was well within a stones throw away, but Ben opted to down the buck with his .243 rifle.

Pic 4-Clair Dagestad, of Emmons MN, made a great long distance shot on this speed goat. After discussing the plan of attack with his guide Kyle, he belly crawled through sage-brush and cactus for what seemed like a mile, before patiently waiting on the buck to clear all 15 does he was courting. The buck dropped with one shot from Clair's 7MM MAG, at a distance of 265 yards! The guide was able to film the hunt in it's entirety, from cactus in the elbows, to horns in the hands!

Pic 5-Kyle Dagestad, of Des Moines IA, was able to to make a great shot on this mulie buck late on the first day of the hunt. After many miles of glassing, and walking, this deer was a welcoming sight, especially since it was the only buck he had seen up to that point.

Pic 6-Drew Henschel, of Emmons MN, made a great shot on this mature speed goat on opening morning. This hunt was Drew's first big game hunt. Andy Henschel (Drew's father), put him right where he needed to be to drop this goat at 130 yards with one shot! The horse shoe lives on!!!
