Looking for a new place to stay for our annual ice fishing trip. Has anybody ever stayed and done some ice fishing with Big Sauk Resort on Big Sauk Lake. Just wondering how it went and how you did fishing. Any tips or advice is appreciated, thank you very much.

Never stayed at Big Sauk Resort, we have a place on the lake. In the winter it's like most big lakes, just go where the groups of ice houses are. Usually the North end by the Red-Barn is packed, lots of pan fish. Middle of the lake (North of the Big Sauk resort), out from the Greystone golf course is good fishin as well. If you go later in the season the ice will have a road plowed, makes driving easy.
