Anyone having any luck lately?? Would like to get into some of the white bass or anything else that is biting. Any suggestions on where to start would be great.
Thanks

The white bass were in the cannon river between sakata and tetonka earleir this year but I am not sure what is happening now. If you are targeting walleyes try up in the shallows in the weeds. the water is pretty green now so the walleyes won't be quite as deep, although the warm temps might have moved them deeper lately, I would still try the shallow weeds in the later part of the day. Trolling or casting rapalas on the weed edges can be dynomite for walleyes and large numbers of white bass. Even common bass tactics can yield some slob walleyes (jig & pork, soft plastics, etc.) The the key is to find the weeds and walleyes will definately be near by. I hope this helps.

A couple of friends and I went out to sakatah and fished right where the cannon river starts on the east end and the white bass were a pound to and pound and a half.
