Looking for tips on LOW.

Greetings all, I am heading up to LOW for three days, Tue, wed, thru. Looking for some EYEs ane Pike or even Muskies.<P>Any tips on where to try and what is working lately? Need a break from the rivers and am heading for the big water.<P>Staying with folks out of Warroad.. I have only fished this lake 2 times in my life and I grew up there LOL .. wow that is sad. Any one gonna be around? I will have empty boat in the mornings. Rusty,<BR>Pulling hardbaits in deeper water and baitfishing on the mainlake reefs are your best options this time of year to get them Walleyes. I ended up on the pond instead of the Red on Friday afternoon and we did okay trolling lures around the Border humps, we also baitfished for a short while on 12 mile and it was decent too. You'll catch smaller pike around the shorelines of Muskeg no problem, bigger fish are usually out in deeper water, try around 5 mile maybe? Always seem to get 1 or 2 nice ones out there when we fish Walleye. To get Muskies you'd have to travel way north into Ontario for good fishing, they are very few and far between in US sections of the lake.<P>Fisky
