I took a client, "The WALLDOCTOR", to Secret Lake yesterday.

Nope... it was not a "fish-in-the-barrel" day. In fact it was slow! The Sunfish were not on beds yet ans the Bass were deeper and slow to hit anything.
I was thinking we were in fo a BAD TRIP.
I had throw fairly all I had at these fish and caught only a few the first hour! Not a good sign on Secret Lake to go that long with hardly a couple of fish.
I opened a package of John Eggers Super Bow Spinners in "Purple Pride" which John had given me to test.

Man am I glad I did... a bit of LEECH Bio-Bait on the back did the trick for us.
We smeared the big brutes!!! Hardly any small fish hit these spinners and I had fish every or every other cast... too many times to count!

John, I bow to your BOW... it rules!!!

We were two very happy campers!

Yes! These spinners are fantastic! I had the pleasure of fishing "secret" lake with Dave Hoggard and Richard Smith today. We had barely pushed off from the dock when "Hoggie" popped a nice northern and I thought wow that was quick. Well while I was scrambling for the a Super Bow I'd purchased just a couple of weeks ago Dave brought in one of the biggest sunnies I'd ever witnessed being caught. Two fish and I hadn't even tied on my spinner yet! Well that was how the fishing went pretty much all day. It seemed one of us had a sunnie, pike or bass on constantly. I even pulled in a beautiful crappie to round things out.
I used the Super Bow spinner in purple for sunnies, pike, and a bass. A pink tube for sunnies, bass, and the crappie. Here is the catch it seemed if it wasn't tipped with Bio-Bait (the only bait used) I wasn't catching fish. The Bio-Bait I used today was Crawfish, Crawler, and I believe maggot/waxworm. I plan on using Bio-Bait a whole lot more from now on!

I have been testing the Purple Pride super bow off and on now for about a year. Although I have had good luck with it, it hasn't recieved the interest from the customers like I had hoped for. i used the big bow tonight and caught a fue largemouth. i was in our canoe so it was kinda hard to manuver and fish at the same time...........need to get a trolling motor for that thing. im going to use them more often now.
