Thanks Rod-man. I will do some checking. I got a friend that was from deerpark which is only 20 mins from there.
Good luck fishing. my buddy will be out fishing this weekend so if you see a black teardrop camper it will most likely be him

Hey guys, Just wanted to say thanks for all the reports. I have done a little fishing on the weekends and have had a little luck on Sheilds. I was just wondering if anyone has found a carrying case for tip-ups. The 5 gal pail works alright, but they still get tangled. Thanks for any info!

catchnmall I don't know were you could buy any tip up cases but i do have a idea or 2 how to make one here's how i would make 1 for the tipups that are 3"by19" use 4"dia pvc pipe and put end caps on them don't glue both caps just the 1 you want to be the bottom and if you have any tie down straping you could you could fix it to the pvc pipe for a shoulder stap. And if you have the round type you could cut a pale i half put shelfs in it then put a hinge on one side of the pale & alatch on the other side just an idea

O catchnmall if you do the pale thing I ment to say cut it in half from the top down they do make exelant storeage units.

As Rick stated, I would go with the Stone Legacy cases, they are bar none the greatest system to date for tip-ups, as well as beautiful rod bags. Check them out!

It is  pretty shiny piece of equipment. I was able to purchase it on my scab job wages 😆 I don't think I'll update the electronics any time soon, 3 screens is enough?

🤣 not near as shiny and spendy as that livescope toy. Thats kinda like bling ain't it? besides i'm on a paultry union pension  🫣

I mean to catch pike you just need a shiny object...

Just another "Words matter"   Voting on school levy. This was posted on the School "education district" building door.  We had a nice cold walk all the way around the building! The arrow was added, after we educated them! 😒

Obviously this is more of a hot topic due to forward facing sonar. With that being said, I know people who have pulled crappies out of basins 40+ deep since the fl-8 and zercom flashers came out. That's over 30 years ago. I do think there's a push to ban these in MN and I could see them doing it here. They'll have to pay my livescope from my cold dead hands 😆 on days I can't catch a walleye jigging or rigging it's nice to turn it on and throw corks at individual fish

It wasn't just you, I was fishing west of you about an hour on Monday. Fished 8am-4pm, no fish, two keeper walleye and one small one from 4pm-630pm. Marked a lot of fish, they would come up to a jig and swim away. They were skittish to the dead stick too

I wonder like divers, if we let them decompress every 10' for 1/2hr. If that would help?  🤔  It would slow the bite down a bit!  🤭
