Hey guys,

Did anyone camp or day trip on Basswood last summer over fathers day weekend? How busy was it?

Trout lake has gotten extremely busy over the last couple of years for my annual f-day weekend trip so I was thinking about changing the venue.

If I remember correctly the permits were booked beyond fathers day weekend. Plenty of traffic both times I was back there. The latest I was there was the weekend before fathers day.

Permits are booked well past Fathers Day.

If you want to see less people you'll need to pick an entry point not on a motor route.
