Where did you find fish over Memorial Day weekend? I'll be heading up a week after you and would really appreciate a report when you get back. Great area, isn't it? I love it up there!
Scoot

I'll be up there with Scoot, let us know how you did and good luck to you. I can't wait to get up there, it will only be my second time, the first was throught the ice.
Fisherdog

Just got back today, we fished in Miles Bay alot, caught nice fish at Thompson Creek in about 8 - 10 feet of water, great time. Smokehouse was pretty busy so didn't stay there much.
Puckey

Any reports from the Morson area over the last week or so. Heading up on Friday, 6/13. Hope the bite is as hot as it was Memorial Day weekend.

Fished Brule, Village, and Dawson on Memorial Weekend. Picked up a lot of nice fish in 4-10' of water on the gravel. Thought about Miles Bay but didn't need to travel that far to find fish. Have a good feeling the fish will be moving out to structure in the next week or two. I'm sure the storms last night messed up the bite for the weekend. Not a problem though. A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work (if there are good days).
I'll Let you know how we did and where we found fish, if we find them.

I'd give Mies Bay a shot, but they've been biting ALL OVER. Look for bays with either rubble, sand and weeds - but especially rubble. We jigged in 4' - 25' and caught 'em at all depths. Also caught 'em on humps/drop-offs off the rubble bays.

Any new reports from Miles, Obabikon, Sabaskong, Little Traverse Bays?
Scoot

Fished East side of Miles on Sat. afternoon. Fairly steady bite. Eyes are cruising around the reefs in 18-26'.

marknamy,
You going to be up this coming weekend? If yes, keep your eyes out for a 17 foot Alumacraft with a 115 Yammy and a 9.9 kicker (kicker has a green cover on it) on the back. We'll be roaming around all over up there- everywhere from the East side of Sabaskong to the East side of Little Traverse. We'll be hunting walleye, smallie, and muskie.
What kind of rig will you be in, if you'll be up?
Scoot

Scoot,
Can't make it this weekend. Have to work to support my obsession since my wife doesn't think she should have to finacially support the sickness.
I'll be up the weekend of the 27th and the 4th. I'll be in a 16' Super Hawk with a 50hp Merc. Can't miss it.
By that time probably hunting Muskies in the AM and working reefs out west in the afternoons. Of course back to dry land for happy hour. If your up either of those weekends let me know I'll look for you.
