You will want to start off of Pine Island. Work a leech on a hammered gold or chartruse spinner rig to find active fish. Work from 21 feet down to about 12 until you locate the prime depth that the fish are habituating. It's a big area with fish scattered all over. If you watch your electronics real close, you will see humps and other stucture that will tend to concentrate fish. I like to toss a marker when I find these and concentrate there to pick off any active fish.
Another good spot should be around the Morris Point gap and around Zippel Bay. Zippel is a long boat ride from Sportsman's, but it is doable.
For bait, I would start leeches but have crawlers and a few minnows available. I would guess that leeches will be the top producer. Be prepared for LOTS of little fish. There are a lot of fish in the lake and there appears to be two very strong year classes represented by fish that are 6-8" and 10-12".
Have a great time, hope this helps. If the weather behaves, this is a can't miss trip for waldos.
